Daiwa Certate SW spinning reels are here for your inshore and offshore pleasure. Certate SW is based on the same platform as Saltiga. It features a monocoque aluminum body with a G1 duralumin main gear that packs a lot of punch. Turn the knob and it's super smooth! Like the Saltiga, the Certate SW uses the Advanced Drag Tournament System, which creates a maximum of 55-65 pounds of drag (depending on size)! That's an insane amount of resistance, which will come in handy when holding something big! To keep out water, sand and salt, the Certate SW has a Magsealed body and a Magsealed bearing on the line spool. The line roller is one of the parts most likely to fail on a spinning wheel, and this greatly reduces the chance of failure. It may seem simple, but it is one of the obvious reasons why you should choose a bed that does not have the same protection. There is nothing worse than having your equipment break on the water.
